First Show!

This weekend I will be attending my first show.  Well...my first show as a seller.  Actually that isnt accurate either as my parents are artists and I've been to hundreds of shows with them.  So ok this is my first show as my own merchant.  It will only be 1 day and I'm not so sure about the location since its a tiny little town but I figured it was as good a time as any to jump in and get going.  If anyone happens to be in the area I will be in Shady Cove, Oregon on the beautiful Rogue River for Tie Day this Saturday.

New Beginings

Spice is Nice is a brand new vision of mine that is just now getting started.  Whenever I go to the store I see tons of premixed spices for things like tacos, burritos, roast, bbq chicken yet nothing with any ethnicity.  Even the taco seasoning is clearly Americanized, anyone that has been south of the border knows this to be true.  I love ethnic foods and would prepare them at home more often except the amount of time involved and who has all the spices needed on hand or has even heard of a lot of them.  I'm hoping that Spice is Nice can reach out to others like me an offer a quick and delicious at home option.

Right now a dear graphic designer friend of mine is designing my logo and as soon as it is finished and in print Spice is Nice is ready to go!  For a start I will be selling on Etsy to get things going.  Check there soon for spice packets.  Indian, African, Georgian, Mexican, and many many more, you name it, it will probably be there!
